Q: What excites you about cannabis being added to the annual competitions at the California State Fair?

A: As the California State Fair celebrates the fruits of agriculture for the state, cannabis cultivated here is well known world-wide for it’s caliber of excellence. Now with this addition of cannabis to the celebrative CSF we may now herald the inclusion of one of the respected crops of cannabis as a true part of the State of California. I am excited to honor the growers who have been denied their place as farmers who support the community for their diligence and hard work.

Q: What do you think makes the California cannabis landscape/industry unique?

A: What makes the California cannabis landscape/industry unique is that has been underground and illegal for decades. Now legal and accepted as a integral part of the retail space and well respected as essential for medicinal attributes it has truly come to fruition..

Q: What’s ONE thing you wish more people knew about cannabis?

A: The one thing that I wish more people realized about cannabis is the valuable medicinal aspects it has to offer. The research and science has only scraped the surface of what this plant has to offer for healing and wellness. The future will bring more to light on the potential of cannabis for humankind.
