Q: What excites you about cannabis being added to the annual competitions at the California State Fair?

A: The State Fair is where the agricultural comunity comes to show off their best work and I’m just really excited to see cannabis finally welcomed into that comunity. I hope more State Fair’s accross the country take notice and folow suit.

Q: What do you think makes the California cannabis landscape/industry unique?

A: California is the birthplace and the home of the cannabis industry in the United States and really leads the way in activism and innovation both at home and internationally. We’re also one of the largest markets. If you can make a name for yourself in California, chances are you will be successful wherever you go.

Q: What’s ONE thing you wish more people knew about cannabis?

A: That the primary quality driver in cannabis and extracts are their flavor and aroma, not their THC content. Since you exhale most of the THC anyway, the concentration of THC in the product plays very little into how high you get. That is more dictated by how long hold the smoke in your lungs and other similiar factors. If you are selecting cannabis based on lab results, you should look first at the terpene concentration because that will absolutely affect how the cannabis tastes and smells.
